Marketing Mastery Weekly
A few years ago, I was sitting in those classrooms.
Taking notes. Listening to seminars. Watching guest speakers on stage.
I never imagined that one day, I would return to the same campus β not as a student, but as the resource person.
On 19.02.2026, I stood on the stage at New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology, invited by the Institutionβs Innovation Council and the Department of Information Technology.
But this time, I was introduced differently.
Chief Executive Officer, Leo Nexley.
That moment meant more than any title.
The day a student returned as CEO.
π From Student Desk to Seminar Stage
As a student, I attended countless seminars. I listened carefully, hoping to understand how the real world worked outside textbooks.
Back then, confidence was something I was still building. Experience was something I was still chasing.
Returning to that same college as a CEO made me realize something powerful.
Growth is silent. Consistency compounds. Small efforts build big outcomes.
You rarely notice it while you are in the process.
But one day, you look back and the path is visible.
π€ The Responsibility of Coming Back
Speaking about AI and Innovation Sprints was not just about technology.
It was about showing students what is possible.
Digital transformation is not limited to big corporations. Innovation is not limited to experienced professionals.
It starts with mindset.
When I looked at the students in the seminar hall, I saw myself a few years ago. Curious. Uncertain. Ambitious.
And I understood that sometimes, representation matters.
When students see someone who once sat in the same classroom come back as a founder, it shifts belief.
It tells them:
It is possible.
π‘ What This Moment Taught Me
Success is not built overnight.
It is built through:
- Late nights learning new skills.
- Failed campaigns that teach lessons.
- Projects that test patience.
- Decisions that require courage.
That stage was not just a milestone. It was a reminder.
The journey matters.
Every small step, every rejection, every pivot β it all leads somewhere.
π A Full Circle Moment
Returning as a CEO was not about status.
It was about gratitude.
Gratitude for the foundation my college gave me. Gratitude for the opportunities to grow. Gratitude for the journey that shaped Leonexley.
Sometimes, you do not realize how far you have come until you stand where you once started.
And that is exactly what this day meant to me.
From the back of the classroom to the front of the stage.
